Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Ben Cleveland has filed for divorce from his wife, Kaitlyn Terrell Cleveland, just over two weeks after his arrest for DUI in Georgia, according to court records obtained by TMZ Sports.
Legal filings show that Cleveland officially submitted divorce papers on February 28 in Baldwin County, Georgia—the same jurisdiction where he was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence just 16 days earlier. Interestingly, the court documents make no mention of his DUI arrest, instead listing adultery as the official reason for the split.
Marriage and Separation Timeline
Cleveland noted in the legal filing that he and Kaitlyn were married on July 21, 2022. However, he stated that they had formally separated on December 29, 2024—suggesting their relationship had been strained for some time before his decision to officially file for divorce.
Attempts to reach Cleveland’s legal team for comment have so far gone unanswered.

DUI Arrest and Legal Troubles
The divorce filing comes amid a turbulent period for Cleveland, both personally and professionally. As previously reported, the 26-year-old lineman was arrested on February 12, just two days before Valentine’s Day, after being pulled over during a routine traffic stop.
Law enforcement claims Cleveland blew a .178, more than twice the legal limit in Georgia. The 6-foot-7, 315-pound Ravens player was subsequently booked into jail and charged with:
- DUI – Alcohol
- Failure to Maintain Lane
The timing of Cleveland’s legal issues and divorce has sparked speculation about the impact of these events on his NFL future.

Implications for Free Agency
Cleveland, a third-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, has spent his entire professional career with the Baltimore Ravens, primarily serving as a rotational offensive lineman. However, his contract is set to expire, making him a free agent when the new league year begins later this month.
While the NFL is no stranger to off-field controversies, teams considering signing Cleveland may take his recent arrest and personal matters into account when evaluating his potential role moving forward.
As of now, Cleveland has not publicly addressed either his pending divorce or his DUI arrest. However, with his legal situation unresolved and his NFL future uncertain, the former Georgia Bulldog faces a critical stretch in both his personal and professional life.
