Vladimir Putin has a distinctive walk which is likely the result of Soviet KGB training, researchers have claimed
Vladimir Putin appears to display a distinctive walking pattern that experts believe could be connected to his KGB training. Analysis of the Russian leader’s gait reveals he walks with a noticeably rigid leg while his right arm stays stiff by his side.
His left arm, however, swings naturally as he moves. Scientists have theorized this unusual movement could stem from weapons training he underwent during his time with the Soviet KGB, where he climbed to lieutenant colonel before the USSR collapsed.
International researchers from Portugal, Italy, and the Netherlands explained: “According to this manual, KGB operatives were instructed to keep their weapon in their right hand close to their chest and to move forward with one side, usually the left, presumably allowing subjects to draw the gun as quickly as possible when confronted with a foe.”, reports the Mirror. It comes after Joe Rogan doubled down on a conspiracy theory over Donald Trump shooting assissination attempt.
This development follows speculation that Putin may be using steroids, which could potentially increase aggressive behavior.
Former foreign secretary Lord David Owen has expressed suspicions about steroid use, pointing to alterations in Putin’s facial structure that could result from muscle-enhancing substances.
Lord Owen revealed on Times Radio: “Look at his face, see how that has changed – he now has an oval face.
“People who said, oh, it’s plastic surgery or Botox, I don’t believe that at all. “He’s on either anabolic steroids as a bodybuilder – and he’s very proud of his muscles and strips to the waist and everything like that – or he’s on corticosteroids.
“If you’re on these drugs, this gives you this face.
“It reduces your immunity and makes you more vulnerable to Covid.
“This man has been in complete isolation, quite extraordinary, won’t see anybody, stays miles away, tremendous pressures.
“Which indicates he’s on a steroid and probably, maybe, a combination of both.”
Lord Owen revealed that anabolic steroids can heighten a person’s aggression.
This comes as specialists worry the Covid-19 pandemic damaged Vladimir Putin’s mental state, triggering the paranoia that resulted in Ukraine’s invasion.
